Administrative Assistant

About the Role


Strategic Kids places hundreds of paraeducators (Special Education Teacher Aides, Campus Supervisors, etc.) in Orange County K-12 schools and is seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our scheduling and team operations. We value the pathway provided to future educators and placing Paraeducators in roles that best fit their goals and student needs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to think critically under pressure, and thrives in both independent and team settings. This position offers growth opportunities, with the potential to transition into a Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate complex scheduling operations
Match Paraeducator candidates to school assignments by evaluating student needs, individual qualifications, and placement goals to optimize school partner satisfaction
Track and respond to employee call-outs and update/fill schedules accordingly
Handle employee communication via email and the company phone line
Utilize Google Sheets and scheduling software (Deputy) to input and update scheduling information
Find substitute employees based on pre-existing data and availability
Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee records
Schedule employees for training and coordinate onboarding new hires
Employee support for company training compliance and timecard approval


Work Environment & Schedule

Monday through Friday Schedule
Hybrid role: Mix of in-office and remote work
Full-time hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (subject to adjustments)
Collaborative and fast-paced team environment
